After responding to Marriott’s urgent request to repair headboards at Hotel LeVeque, Fortner was enlisted to custom build, upholster and install more than 30 sections of seating for the grand opening of Marriott’s new restaurant concept, VASO, at the AC Hotel.
Based on the unique curvature of the serpentine walls, Fortner created templates for client approval before constructing and upholstering the frames in our workshop. To save on costs, we sourced mohair from our own fabric library. Our team installed the seating on-site in an expedited timeframe—integrating into the larger plan without burdening the general contractor and his team.
