The Challenge : Hotel Celare’s rooftop bar, The Vick, and lounge spaces needed custom seating solutions that would blend seamlessly with the hotel’s bold and inviting aesthetic. The project required a mix of curved banquettes with integrated planter boxes, corner banquettes, plush lounge sofas, and a statement-making blue velvet sofa. With a highly collaborative design and procurement process, clear communication and adaptability were essential to ensure every detail met the client’s vision and functional needs.

The Solution: Fortner worked closely with designers, procurement teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality, custom-built seating tailored to the space. Our expertise in commercial-grade craftsmanship and problem-solving allowed us to navigate design adjustments, material selections, and project timelines seamlessly. The result? A collection of stunning, durable seating pieces that enhanced the hotel’s atmosphere and guest experience.

Recognition Hotel Celare has earned national recognition since opening. The hotel was named #4 Best New Hotel in the USA by USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards in January 2026.

It was also recognized by Midwest Living as one of the best new hotels in the Midwest in March 2026.

The Vick Rooftop, where much of our custom seating lives, was named #3 Best Bar in Cincinnati.
